What is mercan?
Mercan, launched on May 26, 2016, is an owned media of Mercari which aims at hiring.
Our concept is “Broadcast Mercari’s “now” both accurately and to as many people as possible in order to allow more people to relate to Mercari on a personal level.”. We introduce our teams and what happens in our company, focusing on people who work here.
Since the founding of Mercari, our company has grown at a fiercely rapid pace. As the situation of the company changes from day to day, the Mercan editorial team’s desire is to increase the number of voices that empathize with Mercari and to contribute to growing our future workforce by writing with sincerity (and accurately) about our members’ thoughts on Mercari in the here and now, including details both on what they are striving for and the challenges they face.
On February 1, 2023, the Mercari Group celebrated its 10th anniversary.
As our group mission, “ Circulate all forms of value to unleash the potential in all people.” says, Mercari aims to use technology to connect people all over the world and create a world where anyone can unleash their potential.
The current goal we should aim at is for Mercan to allow all members to be ambassadors of Mercari’s culture. We keep on communicating both internally and externally, and we pursue the ideals of “think, create, and deliver.” with all members in Mercari. Take a look around!
